FAST FACTS:
• Her father, Felipe Delgado competed at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics for Ecuador and served as her coach at the 2021 Games.
• Plans to return to USC after these Olympics for a fifth season, where she’ll pursue a degree in Public Relations and continue to compete for the Trojans.
• Owns Ecuador national records in the 50m freestyle (25.36), 100m freestyle (55.56), 50m butterfly (2.66) and 100m butterfly (1:00.27).
• At the postponed 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Delgado tied for 25th in the 50m free (25.36) and was 31st in the 100m free (55.56).
