· Competed his freshman year for USC (2019)

· He set the USC decathlon record with 8130 points to win at the Bryan Clay Invitational, a record which had stood for 35 years

· He also set the USC indoor heptathlon record with 5809 points

· Name Pac-12 Men’s Freshman of the Year

· 2019 Pac-12 Championships….3rd in 110m hurdles, 1st in 4x400m, 3rd in 4x100m

· 2019 NCAA Indoor Championships…6th in heptathlon


AFTER USC:

· Competed at Michigan in 2021 and was named Big Ten Field Athlete of the Year

· Graduated from Michigan win 2021 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering

· 2021 NCAA Championships decathlon runner-up

· 2021 Big Ten Championships decathlon champion

· 2021 NCAA Indoor Championships…3rd in heptathlon

· Competed at Arkansas in 2022 and was named the SEC Field Athlete of the Year

· Graduated from Arkansas with an MBA in 2023

· 2023 NCAA Championships…4x400m finalist, 400m hurdles semifinalist

· 2023 SEC Championships 400m hurdles champion

· 2023 NCAA Indoor Championships…2nd in heptathlon, 1st in 4x400m

PERSONAL:

· Ayden was born on May 28, 2000 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

· His parents are Carmen and Michael Owens and he has seven siblings…his father played basketball at Virginia

· He was the 2018 Gatorade Pennsylvania Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year
